Contest Terms and Conditions

This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. 

Participants have the chance to win a West Coast Adventure Prize Pack valued at over $2000 by following the simple rules outlined below. By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions. 

Eligibility 

  • Must be 18 years or older to participate. 

  • Winner must be following all participating Instagram pages outlined below at the time of announcement.  

How to Enter 

  1. Like the contest post. 

  2. Tag 2 friends in the comments. 

  3. Follow the following Instagram accounts:  

Each person may enter once (1 entry per Instagram account). Any entries that do not follow the contest guidelines will be disqualified. 

Contest Period 

The contest begins on Monday, October 21st and ends on October 28th, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Entries submitted after this time will not be accepted. 

The winner will be announced on Wednesday, October 30th and contacted via their Instagram profile.  

Winner Selection 

  • One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. 

  • The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message within 48 hours of the contest ending. 

  • If the winner does not respond within 72 hours of announcement, a new winner may be selected. 

Prize 

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. 

  1. Long Beach Nature Tours - A 3HR, private, ‘Clayoquot Wildlife Safari’ Tour (for 1-8 passengers), valued at $895 CAD + taxes/fees. Available May 1st – September 30th, 2025.  

  2. Ocean Village - 2 Night Stay* at Ocean Village Beach Resort (*Accommodation valued at a maximum of $800; not applicable for stays between June to September, long weekends, or holidays).  

  3. Pair of NOCS Provisions 8x25 Standard Issue Binoculars (Glacial Blue)   

  4. A RUX Waterproof Adventure Tote  

  5. Nuu-chah-nulth language playing cards and guidebook courtesy of the Cedar House Gallery  

  6. Redd Fish Supply Co. hat, t-shirt, and water bottle.  

Each prize provider above reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, alter, or amend the prize offered in this contest for any reason it deems necessary. This may include, but is not limited to, situations involving product availability, shipping constraints, unforeseen circumstances, or any other factors beyond the company's control. In such cases, the company will make reasonable efforts to provide a substitute prize of equal or greater value. The company also reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time without prior notice, should circumstances arise that compromise the integrity or fairness of the contest. 

Privacy 

By entering this contest, you consent to the use of your Instagram handle, likeness, and any content submitted for promotional purposes by Redd Fish Restoration Society / Redd Fish Supply Co.  

General Conditions 

  • We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that violates contest rules or shows signs of automated or fraudulent behavior. 

  • We are not responsible for any technical issues that prevent an entry from being submitted. 

  • By entering, you agree to release Instagram from any responsibility or liability related to the contest.
